Fishing & Boating
Hyco Lake spans over 3,750 acres — a paradise for anglers and boaters. Daily and annual boat permits are available for all motorized vessels.
- Daily boat permit: $25
- Annual boat permit: $75 (Jan 1 – Dec 31)
- Permits required for all motorized vessels
- PCLA is not responsible for lost boat permit stickers. If lost, a new permit MUST be purchased at the standard fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Kraken Disc Golf Course
Hyco Lake Park is home to the Kraken Disc Golf Course — an 18-basket course winding through the forest. Free to play, bring your own discs or rent from the office.

Nature Trails & Learning Area
Explore the 30-acre Natural Learning Area featuring paved walking trails, a gazebo-style outdoor classroom, and excellent bird watching opportunities. A portion of the trail is handicap accessible.

Beach Volleyball & Pickleball
Whether you're spiking it in the sand or rallying on the court, Hyco Lake has you covered. Our lakeside beach volleyball court sits right on the water's edge with stunning views, while our dedicated pickleball courts offer a fast-paced game for all skill levels. Both are free to use and open to all guests.
